Stock control and management should begin at the point that goods are first received from the supplier.
Receiving goods into stock is efficiently managed via Core’s Procurement module, either via user input or handheld scanning.
Rules pertaining to the correct handling of goods receipt (e.g. over-receipt, under-receipt, additional products) can be implemented and put into practice through Goods Receipt Notes.
Returns to supplier are managed via Goods Returns or Sundry Returns. Goods Returns are raised from details pertaining to a certain delivery from a supplier. Sundry Returns are miscellaneous stock returns. Credit request letters can be generated at the point of goods return and can be sent to a supplier via fax or e-mail. Accounts Payable has control of payments vis-à-vis awaited credits.
All types of receipts and returns automatically update stock as well as ensuring that accruals are updated in the correct fashion.
Receipt / Returns Management integrates fully with the Core Inventory Management, Point-of-Sale, Accounts Payable and General Ledger systems.
Ensuring that stock control is effectively and efficiently managed at the back door and credits are paid for all returns
